take your promotional info down and put their own in it's place?

I ask, because I think this is happening with the Tupperware fliers and business cards I leave at the grocery store. Mine always seem to disappear, and no one ever calls me. Then yesterday I saw a catalog from someone else hanging on the bulletin board.

I contacted this woman through her Tupperware site, asking her if she has been doing this. Was this a little much on my part?

This is MY town. My stuff is disappearing. She lives in the next town over, and HER stuff is now in the place of MY stuff. I think this is just WRONG. And you know what? Mad as I was, I LEFT her catalog hanging there. Should I have taken it down?

As tempting as it was - to take her stuff down - you are the better person not to! You did the right thing. Still hang your stuff up too - maybe with a bigger label on front saying "LOCAL"

I have to agree with Vickie on this one. I would just put my information right next to hers. People will contact someone more locally then they will long distance. At least that is my experience. I think you did the right thing. ;-)

What a great person you are! You definitely did the right thing! I also would have contacted her ... I don't think it was too much ... I am curious as to whether you received a response from her? I also agree with both replies below ... personally I would contact someone who is local and closer to me for more information just out of convenience. YOU are the better person! Hope this helps!
